I found about Libby when Sara Groves shared her podcast. She had a little experience editing things in her Squarespace site, but she was running into some things she didn’t know how to do and not feeling confident about figuring it out on her own.

We had our call during the week in February 2021 when power and water were out across Texas due to a snowstorm (I had power, but not water). She said it had been -20F where she was (Minnesota) for the past few weeks.

The first thing we worked on was getting her set up to send an email campaign using Squarespace. She wanted to do a 4 week email series on Lent. We got her sending address set up and I showed her how you can create an email from a blog post.

Next, we took a look at her podcast page. She wanted to update some of the posts, have a more organized look, and link them out to her LibSyn page where people can listen to them.

I showed her how accomplish this using a “Blog” page with an entry for each podcast. Once those were created, we could display them in an organized and flexible way on her podcast page using a summary block. Once I taught her how to do this, she was able to add the ones she wanted herself.
